Develpment Goals And Beyond 2015 Response

While I was reading the "Millennium Development Goals and Beyond 2015" I found that HIV/AIDS was not only affecting the USA but people around the country. And this is sad but also very true. It was an issue that was affecting millions and we couldn't find a solution, to slow down the spread. And I found that the current goal is to "halt and began to reverse, by 2015, spread of HIV/AIDS. I was surprised to find out that this is actually working. We have always been trying to find ways to stop the spread in the USA but I don't believe that anyone was trying to stop the entire issue. And the issue to me is that we were not trying to stop it around the world. And this is why other countries got the disease so fast I believe. But we are trying to fix the problem. And like I said its working. "The incidence of HIV is declining in most regions." And the people newly infected each year dropped and entire 33% from "2001 to 2012" And this may seem small but the advantage is astonishing. I say this because its declining not increasing. So no matter what its great. And this includes all diseases like: TB, Malaria, and more. We are becoming so advanced in our medical field that we are improving the health of every one around the globe. I found this article so amazing because its a problem that I have seen in people around the world just by watching the television. And I always wanted someone smart enough to get a clue. And they did. The accomplished and overall decline in disease around the world. Which we should have done before. But now I know that the world I live in is not only safer for me and my family. But safer for my future children. And for this I am entirely grateful. So this is why I choose this article. Because it was the kind of article that can make you smile a little brighter at the end of the day.
